Jude Odell is a clay artist living and working in Indianapolis. She holds a BFA in Crafts and Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been granted both an Individual Artist Fellowship and an Artist Project Grant from the Indiana Arts Commission and an Artist Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Indianapolis Arts Council.
She shows and sells her figurative claywork nationally in galleries and at juried shows.
Jude has provided children’s arts programming since 1978 in schools, community centers, libraries, after-school programs and summer arts camps in VA, NY, LA, and IN.
She creates clay installations and relief tile murals, mosaics, and painted murals with students and teaches lessons in a variety of art media, currently with Young Audiences of Indiana, the Indianapolis Art Center, and Garfield Park Art Center.
